How to write a value proposition

A value proposition is one or two sentences that make the right person think “that’s for me.” It is not a slogan and not a feature list. The reliable way to write one is to fill a simple frame, then cut every word that isn’t doing work.

The frame this tool uses:

For [who it’s for] who [problem], [product] is a [category] that [main outcome]. Unlike [the alternative], it [what makes it different].

Two rules make it land. Lead with the outcome, not the mechanism (“get your first 100 users,” not “AI-powered positioning engine”). And name the real alternative your buyer weighs you against, so the difference is obvious.

Your value proposition is the seed of everything else: your landing headline, your launch posts, your cold emails. When they all trace back to the same clear line, nothing you ship contradicts anything else. That consistency is what Wend keeps locked for you as you grow.

One good line is a start. Keep everything on-message.

Wend locks this positioning, then writes every launch post, email, and page from it, so your marketing never drifts off the point.
