What makes a tagline work

A good tagline is short, specific, and about the reader, not you. It passes three tests:

  • It's under about seven words, so it sticks.
  • It leads with the outcome the person wants, not your mechanism.
  • It sounds like a human said it, not a committee.

Generate a batch, read them out loud, and keep the one you'd actually say to a friend. Then make sure it agrees with your headline, your app store subtitle, and your launch posts. When they all say the same thing, your marketing stops feeling scattered.

A tagline is one line. Keep your whole message in sync.

Wend locks your positioning once, then writes your headline, posts, and emails from it, so every line reinforces the last.
